Monday Jun 17, 2019
Welcome to the beginning of the Orkneyinga Saga, in this episode we are introduced to the legendary past of the island, with each new podcast we will journey the Saga together as I narrate the tale.
Written by an unknown scribe around 1200, the saga tells of the history of the earls of Orkney, when these Scottish islands belonged to the Viking world. With heroes, villains, and themes such as murder battle sorcery and feuds; this is a story worthy of telling.
